Pediatric Heart Hospital, Fiji:

With the support of our sponsors and donors, we donated a total of $26065.00 to H2H Foundation to build the first free children’s heart hospital in Fiji and South Pacific Islands. The Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Children’s Heart Hospital in Fiji will provide free heart surgeries to the children in Fiji and the neighboring Pacific Island nations.

The hospital is an undertaking of Sai Prema Foundation, a charitable origination that is dedicated to serving underprivileged people of Fiji through Medicare, Educare, and Sociocare initiatives. This is a major project that the foundation has embarked on calling it ‘Gift of Life – free heart surgeries for children with congenital heart disease.

According to statistics provided by the Foundation, “every year about 200 children in Fiji are born with congenital heart disease and over 2,500 children are born in the Pacific with congenital heart disease. There are NO PEDIATRIC CARDIAC SERVICES AVAILABLE IN FIJI or any of the other Pacific Island Nations. Due to these staggering statistics, the Foundation is building South Pacific’s first Children’s free Heart Hospital. The hospital will be built on State Land granted to the Foundation by the Fiji Government for hospital use”.
